Removing Coolant Temperature Sensor

Information 

When the engine is cold, the cap on the coolant reservoir can be opened briefly in order to release residual pressure in the cooling system.

Information 

If sealing rings remain stuck in the cylinder head, pull with a wire.

Information 

Re-install coolant temperature sensor as quickly as possible or close it off using a suitable stopper to prevent unnecessary coolant loss.

1. Remove coolant temperature sensor -1-  .
   1. 1.1 Release and unplug electric plug connection -2-  .
   2. 1.2 Place a cloth underneath to soak up emerging coolant.
   3. 1.3 Unscrew and remove screw -3-  .
   4. 1.4 Remove coolant temperature sensor -1-  .
