Bleeding The Cooling System Manually

Information 

Pay particular attention to the following on V6 Hybrid EU/Rest of World vehicles: 

• It is only possible to bleed the system using the PIWIS Tester on vehicles from model year 2021. 
• For vehicles up to model year 2020, bleed the system manually. 

1. Start the vehicle and check whether there is coolant leaking through the vent lines.
2. Drive the vehicle at operating temperature and adjust the heating to maximum heating power.
3. At standstill, rev the engine several times using the accelerator pedal.
