Installing Sealing Ring

Tools for fitting sealing ring

Slide new sealing ring -1- with the closed side -2- over the sleeve -3- onto the mounting -4- .

Sliding sealing ring onto mounting
Fit mounting -1- with new sealing ring -2- on the crankshaft flange -arrow- . Check position of centring pin -3- .

Tap in sealing ring with the pressure piece -1- as far as it will go using a plastic hammer -arrow- .
