Preliminary Work
- Danger of fire or explosion
→ Avoid contact with hot parts or sources of ignition.
→ Use suction to remove ignitable vapors.
→ Attach warning sign in a clearly visible position.
→ Contain leaked media using non-flammable absorbent material and put it in a container designed for this purpose for disposal in accordance with local requirements.
→ Secure collection containers/vessels to prevent them from tipping over.
- Danger of chemical burns
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.
→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
Information
The battery voltage must not fall below 12.5 volts during the fuel pressure check.
- Connect a battery charger.
- Attach or mount a warning sign in a clearly visible position on the vehicle.

- Relieve fuel pressure in the system.
- 3.1 Pull out fuse for fuel pump.
- 3.2 Start the engine, wait until it stops and then re-insert fuse for fuel pump.

- 4.1 Place a cloth underneath the connection point for the fuel low-pressure line -2- .
- 4.2 Release and disconnect plug-in coupling for the fuel low-pressure line. Collect emerging fuel.
- 4.3 > 9705 - Measuring adapter-1- must be connected.
- 4.4 Position a clean canister that is suitable for fuel and secure it to prevent it from falling over.
- 4.5 Insert hose -3- into the canister.
