Supporting Engine On The Body (Engine Safety Device)

Information
The support must be positioned not only on the spring strut dome, but it must also be pushed onto the edge of the plate. Danger of slipping off!
- Set up engine safety device and support the engine.
- 1.1 Assemble individual components with the help of another person and fit tool set-up on the body.
- 1.2 Check that supports -1-
and bases -3-
are positioned correctly.
- 1.2.1 The supports -1- must be pushed as far as they will go onto the spring strut domes -2- .
- 1.2.2 The hooks -4- on the bases -3- must be hooked into the seam on the longitudinal members -5- .
- 1.3 Turn the supports -8 and 9- to align the engine safety device horizontally -arrows- and tighten screws.
- 1.4 > 3033 - Lifting tackle-6- must be fitted and hooked into the engine transport eyebolts -7- . The positions of the engine transport eyebolts -7- can vary depending on the engine type.
- 1.5 Tension the engine by aligning the hooks and tightening the spindles at the same time.
