Subsequent Work For Diagnostic Scopes

- Connect tester to the vehicle and start it.
- Switch on ignition.
- Start diagnostics.
- Select engine electronics (DME) control unit.
- Select Maintenance/Repairs

- 5.1 Only for hybrid vehicles: Decoupler commissioning without part replacement
- 5.2 Only for V6T and V8T: Working on the high-temperature coolant circuit: Draining and filling coolant
- 5.3 Only for V6T and V8T: Working on the high-temperature coolant circuit: Bleed cooling system
- 5.4 Only for V6T and V8T: Checking oil level
- 5.5 Only for reconditioned engine: Performing throttle valve adaptation.
- 5.6 Only for reconditioned engine: Reset sensor wheel adaptation
- 5.7 Only for reconditioned engine V8Tevo: Writing adaptation of camshaft sensors
- Select the Drive links/checks
tab and reset under Learning values
- 6.1 Only for replacing injector valves and reconditioned engine: Reset injector valve learning values
- 6.2 Only for R4: Resetting chain elongation
- 6.3 Only for R4: Replacing turbocharger and reconditioned engine: Reset, turbocharger learning values
- Read out all fault memories , process and delete existing faults if necessary.
- Exit the diagnostic application. End operational readiness on the vehicle. Disconnect tester from the vehicle.
