Removing Temperature Sensor

Information 

Micro-self-locking screws 

Fit new screws following removal.

Only for V6 Hybrid and V8 S Hybrid: 

  1. Unscrew screws on heat shield of temperature sensor and remove heat shield.

  2. Release and disconnect electric plug connection.

  3. Unscrew outer temperature sensor holder and remove holder.

  4. Carefully push the temperature sensor guide out of the transmission using a suitable tool.

  5. Unscrew screw on inner temperature sensor holder.

  6. Remove the temperature sensor from the transmission and drive it through the side opening on the transmission.
