Removing Compressor/Condenser Line

  • Danger of freezing 

    → Avoid contact with refrigerant.

    → Wear personal protective gear.

    → Observe the safety regulations for working on air-conditioned vehicles and handling refrigerant.

    → Observe the safety regulations for extraction and filling systems.

    → Observe the instructions for repairing air-conditioning systems and storing spare parts.

Information 

Seal open lines and hoses with suitable plugs from the > VAS 6122 - engine sealing plug set  .

  1. Unscrew screw -1-  and pull refrigerant line between the compressor and condenser -2-  out of the condenser.

  2. Remove refrigerant line between the compressor and condenser -2-  .

    Removing refrigerant line between compressor and condenser

    1. 2.1 Unclip line bracket -3-  and disengage refrigerant line between the compressor and condenser -2-  .
    2. 2.2 Unscrew and remove screw -4-  .
    3. 2.3 Pull refrigerant line between the compressor and condenser -2-  out of the air-conditioning compressor and remove it carefully in an upward direction.
