Subsequent Work

Information 

If servo motors were replaced  , they must be taught using the PIWIS Tester  .

  1. Install servo motor for right foot bypass.

    > 872019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SERVO MOTOR FOR RIGHT FOOT BYPASS 

  2. > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3  must be connected. Then teach the servo motors.
    1. 2.1 > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3  must be connected to the vehicle before starting it.
    2. 2.2 Switch on the ignition.
    3. 2.3 Select Air-conditioning system  control unit.
    4. 2.4 Maintenance/repairs  must now be selected.
    5. 2.5 Teach and check flap servo motors  must be selected. Then press F12 to continue.
    6. 2.6 Follow the instructions on > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3  .
    7. 2.7 Read out the fault memory  and erase it if necessary.
    8. 2.8 Switch off ignition, shut down > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3  and disconnect it.
    9. 2.9 Carry out a function test.
