Preparing Window Aperture For Installation

Information 

  1. When removing adhesive residue with a cutter -C-  and flashing knife -D-  on the body, ensure that a surface coating of adhesive remains.

    Removing adhesive residue on rear lid

    Information 

    • A drying time of 10 minutes must be observed between cleaning the bonding surface and applying primer! Remove all cleaning solution residue on the body. 
  2. Clean new paint surfaces or damage to the top coat paint in the non-visible area of the window aperture in the body with cleaning solution -H1-  and touch up with primer -H2-  .
