No Identifiable Deformations On The Body Structure

  1. Check seam joining line on the accessories

    > 5000IN Diagram - Body gap dimensions  in the appropriate service information

  2. Check accessories for paint abrasion (accessories that were hit during impact)
  3. Drive the vehicle onto a lifting platform and raise it. Measure screw points using an electronic measuring system (e.g > VAS 6526/11 - Measuring Unit, Professional  or > VAS 811 019 - Measuring system  ) and compare with the required values.
  4. Determine extent of any apparent damage to vehicle parts

    Measure running gear electronically if necessary

    > Refer to 449503 Suspension alignment complete  in the appropriate service information

  5. Decide whether the vehicle has to be repaired

    Repair vehicle, if necessary.
