Preliminary Work

Remove the engine.

Secure engine on assembly support.
> 1001IN Securing engine on assembly support (V8 biturbo)
Drain engine oil.
> 170117 DRAINING AND FILLING IN ENGINE OIL
Remove belt tensioner (air-conditioning compressor).

Remove guide tube for oil dipstick -1- .
1. 5.1 Unscrew and remove screw -2- .
2. 5.2 Pull guide tube for oil dipstick -1- up -arrow- and remove it.

Remove oil pressure control valve.

Remove crankshaft vibration damper.

Remove crankshaft sealing ring.
