Replacing Double Clutch Transmission

Some repairs are shown only on one side of the vehicle.
Some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.

Unscrew screws -1- and remove exhaust system holder -2- .

Unscrew screws -1- and remove heat shield -2- .

Unscrew screws -1- and remove transmission support -2- .

Transmission support
Pull off connecting shaft -1- using > 9799 - impact puller .

Connecting shaft
Assembly is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
Tightening torque for screws securing transmission support to double clutch transmission: > Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)

Tightening torque for screws securing heat shield to double clutch transmission: > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)

Tightening torque for screws securing exhaust system holder to double clutch transmission: > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

Tightening torque for screws securing vibration balancer to double clutch transmission: > Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)
