Installing Change-Over Valve For Low-Temperature System

  1. Install change-over valve for low-temperature system -1-  .
    1. 1.1 Fit change-over valve for low-temperature system -1-  .
    2. 1.2 Screw on and tighten nuts -5-  .

      > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 

    3. 1.3 Connect and lock cable plug -4-  .
    4. 1.4 Push on coolant hoses -3-  and tighten spring band clamps -2-  using > VAS 6890 - Spring Band Clamp Pliers  .

    Change-over valve for low-temperature system (UVW 1)

  2. Secure holder -1-  .
    1. 2.1 Move holder -1-  into installation position.
    2. 2.2 Fit nut -2-  and screws -3-  .
    3. 2.3 Tighten screws -3-  .

      > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 

    4. 2.4 Tighten nut -2-  .

      > Tightening torque 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.)
