Removing Radiator

Information 

  1. Open coupling -1-  and pull off coolant line -2-  .

  2. For the V6 Monoturbo: 

    Loosen clamp -1-  , pull pressure hose -2-  off the left and right charge-air coolers and set it aside.

  3. Lift up retaining clip -1-  using > T10118 - assembly tool  and disconnect coolant hose -2-  .

  4. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  on the coolant temperature sensor.

  5. Lift up retaining clip -1-  using > T10118 - assembly tool  and disconnect coolant hose -2-  .

  6. Unclip refrigerant line -1-  from holder -2-  .

  7. Pull the radiator -1-  forward out of the vehicle.

  8. When replacing components: 

    Remove coolant distributor tubes.

    1. 8.1 Lift up retaining clips -1-  using > T10118 - assembly tool  .
    2. 8.2 Unscrew screws -2-  and remove coolant distributor tubes -3-  .

  9. When replacing components: 

    Unscrew screws -1-  and pull bracket -2-  up off the radiator.
