Preliminary Work

  1. Remove lock carrier.

    > WM, 503819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LOCK CARRIER

  2. Remove front air guide.

    > 192419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT AIR GUIDE 

  3. Remove cooling fan housing (radiator frame).

    > 192019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COOLING FAN HOUSING (RADIATOR FRAME) 

  4. Remove air guide -1-  in a downward direction.

  5. Remove condenser.

    > 875019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONDENSER

  6. Remove ATF cooler.

    > 386019 Removing and installing ATF cooler 

  7. Drain coolant.

    > 193817 DRAINING AND FILLING COOLANT 

  8. For Hybrid vehicles: 

    Drain coolant in low-temperature cooling system.

    > WM, 193817 DRAIN AND FILL COOLANT (LOW-TEMPERATURE COOLING SYSTEM) 

  9. For V6 monoturbo engines: 

    Remove charge-air cooler.

    > 214319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CHARGE-AIR COOLER (V6 MONOTURBO)
