Removing Additional Coolant Pump For Low-Temperature System (P2)

WARNING: Hot fluid 
  • Danger of scalding 

    → Avoid contact with hot fluid.

    → Wear personal protective gear.

  1. Loosen holder -1-  .
    1. 1.1 Screw off nut -2-  .
    2. 1.2 Unscrew and remove screws -3-  .
    3. 1.3 Move holder -1-  so that the additional coolant pump for the low-temperature system is accessible. Make sure not to damage any lines.

    Bracket

  2. Remove additional coolant pump for low-temperature system -1-  .
    1. 2.1 Loosen spring band clamps -2-  using > VAS 6890 - Spring Band Clamp Pliers  and pull off coolant hoses -3-  .
    2. 2.2 Catch escaping coolant and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
    3. 2.3 Release and disconnect cable plug -4-  .
    4. 2.4 Unscrew screw -5-  .
    5. 2.5 Open holder -6-  and remove additional coolant pump for low-temperature system -1-  .
