Removing Front Apron

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle or describe a similar component  .
• Also complete certain steps on the opposite side of the vehicle as well  .

1. Unscrew screw -1-  on wing.

2. Pull safety clips -2-  off the guide pins using > T10118 - assembly tool  .

3. Unscrew front screws -3-  at the top.

4. Remove front apron with the help of another person.
   1. 4.1 Pull front apron towards the front.

      Information 

      The number of electric plug connections can vary depending on equipment.

   2. 4.2 Disconnect electric plug connections and loosen wire harness -4-  from the front apron on both sides.

   3. 4.3 Only for USA vehicles (C02 - USA) 

      Press locking lug -arrow A-  and disconnect electric plug connection for side direction indicator light -arrow B-  .

   4. 4.4 Press locking lugs and disconnect hose connections on headlight cleaning system -5-  at the right on the front apron.

   5. 4.5 Remove front apron with the help of another person.
