Removing Rear Roof Sun Blind: Notes

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle  .
• Also complete certain steps on the opposite side of the vehicle as well  .

1. Unclip rear roof sun blind.

   1. 1.1 Carefully lift up the clip -2-  using a screwdriver.
   2. 1.2 Press roof strut forward.
2. Pull rear roof sun blind forward manually > Length 300 mm  .

   Information on locking sun blind

   • When the locking pin is removed, the spring becomes loose and the sun blind -1- must be replaced  .
3. Lock rear roof sun blind -1-  using > T40011 - locking pin  .

4. Remove guide element.
   1. 4.1 Disengage reinforced guide for sun blind -3-  from guide element -4-  .

   2. 4.2 Unclip guide element -4-  (-arrow-  ).

5. Disengage reinforced guide for sun blind -3-  from guide rail -5-  (-arrow-  ).

6. Unscrew and remove screw -6-  .
