Installing Sliding-Roof Panel

Information 

• Repair illustrations show one side of the vehicle or describe a similar component  .
• Complete certain steps on the opposite side of the vehicle as well  .

1. Insert sliding-roof panel into the powered sunroof mechanism from above and screw in screws hand-tight.
2. Adjust sliding-roof panel.

3. Tighten the screws > Tightening torque 5.5 Nm (4 ftlb.) +/- 0.5 Nm (0.3 ftlb.) 
4. Remove adhesive residues from the sliding roof in area -1-  and clean it.

5. Raise sliding-roof panel -2-  so that the side covers -1-  can be installed.

   Information 

   Check clips and replace side covers if necessary.

6. Clip side covers -1-  into the guide rail for the sliding roof.

7. Remove protective film in area -1-  and press on cover.

8. The protective film in area -2-  is not removed.
