Preliminary Work

  1. Remove front-axle support (front section).

    > Remove and install front-axle support 

  2. Remove stabilizer mount.

    > Remove and install anti-roll bar mount 

  3. Remove engine mount at the left and right.

    > Remove and install engine mount 

  4. Remove heat shield for high-pressure pump.

    > Remove and install high-pressure pump (V6 Turbo) 

  5. Remove front trim (engine compartment).

    > WM, 700219 REMOVING AND REINSTALLING FRONT TRIM PANEL (ENGINE COMPARTMENT)

  6. Loosen torque support at the bracket and swivel it upwards.

    > 103719 REMOVE AND INSTALL TORQUE SUPPORT



  1. Remove primary catalytic converter for bank 1.

    > Removing and installing primary catalytic converter (V6 biturbo) 

  2. Remove all-wheel final drive.

    > Removing and installing all-wheel final drive (V6) 

  3. Remove engine mount.

    > Removing and reinstalling engine mount 

  4. Remove catalytic converter for bank 2.

    > Removing and installing catalytic converter (V6 BT) 

  5. Remove heat shield for high-pressure pump.

    > Removing and installing high-pressure pump 

  6. Remove front trim panel (engine compartment).

    > WM, 700219 REMOVING AND REINSTALLING FRONT TRIM PANEL (ENGINE COMPARTMENT)

  7. Loosen torque support at the bracket and swivel it upwards.

    > 103719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TORQUE SUPPORT
