Preliminary Work

  1. Disconnect the battery.

    > Work instructions after disconnecting the battery 

  2. Remove carpet at the right.

    > 704119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CARPET

  3. Remove PCC/PVTS control unit.

    > 906419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PCC/PVTS CONTROL UNIT

    Information 

    There is no need to remove the windscreen.

  4. Lower the headliner.

    > WM, 708419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ROOF TRIM PANEL

  5. Remove USB/IPOD control unit.

    > 919319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING USB/IPOD CONTROL UNIT

  6. Unscrew screws -1-  and remove USB/IPOD control unit holder -2-  .

    Unscrewing screws

  7. Remove air vent under passenger's seat.

    > 887519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR VENT

  8. Remove airbag triggering unit.

    > 695319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIRBAG TRIGGERING UNIT

  9. Remove sound absorber for tunnel -1-  .

  10. Remove loudspeaker amplifier.

    > WM, 914419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LOUDSPEAKER BOOSTER

  11. Remove mobile phone antenna amplifier in right A-pillar.

    > 914519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING MOBILE PHONE ANTENNA AMPLIFIER
