Loosening Main Wire Harness In Plenum Panel
NOTE:
Incorrect handling of main wire harness
- Risk of damage to lines
→ The main wire harness contains all airbag lines, antenna lines and optical waveguides.
→ The main wire harness must not be separated and is always replaced as a complete wire harness when carrying out extensive repairs.
→ If individual lines are damaged, shut off these lines and install new lines. Lay the new lines along the main wire harness and secure them to the main wire harness.
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection for sensor for body at the right.
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-
on sound system control unit -2-
.
Releasing and pulling off electric plug connection
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection for alarm siren.
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection on air quality sensor.
- Unclip line bracket -1-
from main wire harness -2-
at the cross panel.
Unclipping line bracket
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection for sensor for body at the left.
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-
on check valve -2-
.
Releasing electric plug connection
- Unclip line bracket -1-
from main wire harness -2-
and push grommet -3-
through the firewall.
