Subsequent work for cylinders 1-3

  1. For vehicles with engine-independent heating: Secure the coolant pipes.
  2. Connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum pump.
  3. Install the ignition coils. → 282020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE IGNITION COILS
  4. Route the wiring harnesses.
  5. Install the fuel high-pressure pump. → 246319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE HIGH-PRESSURE PUMP
  6. Install high-pressure fuel lines. → 249019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FUEL LINE (HIGH-PRESSURE)
  7. Install the actuators for the camshaft controller and lay the cable. → 158419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE ACTUATOR FOR THE CAMSHAFT 
  8. Connect the ATF lines at the connection point to the radiator.
  9. Secure the ATF lines on the cylinder head cover.
  10. Fill up the ATF. → 370235 CHECKING AND TOPPING UP THE ATF
  11. Install the intake-air distributor. → 244619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE INTAKE-AIR DISTRIBUTOR
  12. Install the secondary-air pump. → 266519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE SECONDARY-AIR PUMP
  13. Install the holder for the fuel line and tank vent line.
  14. Install the torque support.
  15. Install the air-cleaner box.
  16. Install the engine cover.
