Subsequent work

Information 

Tightening torques, tightening sequence and assembly overviews for the engine and transmission:

  1. Secure secondary air valve and secondary air line to the cylinder head.
  2. Install crankcase ventilation line.
  3. Secure coolant vent line to the cylinder head.
  4. Connect electric plug connections.
  5. Secure fuel connection line to the fuel collection pipe. → 243019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FUEL DISTRIBUTOR PIPE
  6. Install deflector rail and tensioning rail on the cylinder head. → 154719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING GUIDE AND TENSIONING RAILS 
  7. Install timing chain. → 153519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TIMING CHAIN 
  8. Install chain housing cover. → 153319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CHAIN HOUSING COVER 
  9. Install camshafts. → 150520 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CAMSHAFTS 
  10. Install intake-air distributor. → 244619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INTAKE-AIR DISTRIBUTOR
  11. Install upper part of oil pan. → 175019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OIL GUIDE HOUSING
  12. Install turbocharger. → 213019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TURBOCHARGER
  13. Install engine and transmission. → 100119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE
