Power-steering gear: Teaching steering lock settings

Information

If the steering gear is replaced, the steering lock settings must be taught .
The steering lock settings are cleared after calibrating the steering-angle sensor and must be re-taught .

Teach steering lock settings.
To do this, select >>Power steering<< in the control unit overview on PIWIS Tester II 9818 , then select >>Calibrate<< in the >>Maintenance/repairs<< menu and press [F12] to start.
