Removing intermediate steering shaft

Information

The sealing bellows and intermediate steering shaft are one unit .
The sealing bellows cannot be removed from the intermediate steering shaft .
Do not try to remove the sealing bellows from the intermediate steering shaft!

Unscrew fastening screw -2- on universal joint.
Pull intermediate steering shaft -3- off the steering column -1- .

Unscrew fastening screw -2- on universal joint.
Pull intermediate steering shaft -1- off the steering gear -3- .

Press sealing bellows -1- together on the tabs and press into the interior of the vehicle.

Remove intermediate steering shaft -1- by pulling it towards the passenger compartment.
