Removing steering column

  1. Disconnect steering column from intermediate steering shaft.
    1. 1.1. Unscrew fastening screw -2-  on universal joint.

    2. 1.2. Pull intermediate steering shaft -3-  off the steering column -1-  .
  2. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  .

  3. Remove steering column.
    1. 3.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  for the steering column -2-  at the bottom of the mounting saddle.

    2. 3.2. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  and -2-  for the steering column at the top of the retaining frame. Support the steering column from below with your hand.

    3. 3.3. Pull steering column back slightly, lower it and remove it.
