Removing control unit for electric steering column lock (ELV)

NOTE: Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit

→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

Release and disconnect connector -2- .
Unscrew and remove fastening screw -1- .

Lift the ELV control unit and pull it out of the steering column.
