Removing charge-air cooler

Information

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is practically identical.

Remove air guide -1- on the charge-air cooler -2- .
Disconnect pressure hoses on the charge-air cooler.
1. 2.1. Release locking spring -1- and pull off pressure hose -2- at the bottom of the charge-air cooler -3- .
2. 2.2. Loosen screw-type clamp -4- and pull off pressure hose -5- at the top of the charge-air cooler -3- .
Loosen clamp -1- and pull ambient air line -2- off the wastegate -3- .
Remove charge-air cooler.
1. 4.1. Unscrew screws -1- .
2. 4.2. Remove charge-air cooler -2- by pulling it forward.
