Preliminary work

  1. Actuate the brake pedal as often as required until there is no more brake force boosting (brake booster is "empty", brake pedal becomes hard).
  2. Remove brake light switch → 943619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH .
  3. Unclip cowl panel cover → 508719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COWL PANEL COVER .
  4. Remove cross panel → 508119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CROSS PANEL (DISASSEMBLING PLENUM PANEL) .
