Removing coolant pump

Information
- To ease removal, spray the pulley from the rear side with an anti-corrosion agent .
- Loosen the three fastening screws on the coolant pump pulley. Block the pulley with counter-hold tool Nr.38
or counter-hold tool Nr.193
if necessary or if the belt drive is removed.
- Loosen drive belt around the coolant pump. For details, see → 137819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING DRIVE BELT
- Unscrew the three loosened fastening screws on the pulley and remove the pulley.NOTE: Incorrect handling of pulley
- Risk of damage to pulley
→ The pulley is sensitive to impact. Do not prise off the pulley with a screwdriver.
→ Do not re-use a damaged pulley.
- Loosen and unscrew the fastening screws -2-

- Remove coolant pump -1-

- If the coolant pump is stuck, loosen it by gently tapping with a plastic hammer.
