Installing knock sensor

Information

Tightening torques, tightening sequence and assembly overviews for the engine and transmission:

Group 1: → 1X00IN TECHNICAL VALUES
Group 2: → 2X00IN TECHNICAL VALUES
Group 3: → 3X00IN TECHNICAL VALUES

Information

Observe the specified tightening torque for the knock sensor screw .
Align the housing and cable plug for the knock sensor in such a way that they are not touching .
Otherwise, there is no guarantee that the knock sensor will work correctly .

Information

Clean contact surface of knock sensor with a cloth.

Install knock sensors -1- . Make sure that the knock sensors are aligned as shown in the illustration.

2	Fastening screw, M8 x 35

Tighten fastening screws -2- .
Push on cable plug.
