Checking fuel quality

→ Avoid contact with hot parts or sources of ignition.

→ Use suction to remove ignitable vapors.

→ Attach warning sign in a clearly visible position.

Information 

• Only carry out the analysis in well-ventilated rooms and at room temperature (20° Celsius)  .
• Before starting the analysis, have a good look at the information on the CD and read the leaflet (supplied in the case) carefully  .
• This analysis can only determine a reference value; a laboratory test is required for an exact analysis  .
• The analysis does not constitute a legal basis; it is the starting point for further steps  .

1. Push the measuring cylinder -1-  into the fixing clip -2-  in the case.

2. Place the spindle sleeve -1-  under the lid of the case so that the measuring cylinder is horizontal.

3. Pour 500 milliliters (ml) of fuel into the measuring cylinder.

4. Carefully immerse the measuring spindle into the liquid and let it go.

   1. 4.1. The spindle must be floating in the middle in order to read off the scale value.

5. Assign the scale value using the table below.

   Information 

   • Fuel, fuel mixes and cleaning mixes must be disposed of according to the applicable national regulations  .
6. After testing the fuel, wash out and wash off measuring equipment thoroughly using the cleaning brush, washing-up liquid and hot water.

7. After analyzing the fuel quality, carry out the required measures.
