Removing upper part of rear lid lock

WARNING: Electrically moved components

Danger of limbs being trapped or severed

→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.

→ Make sure it does not switch on again.

→ Check that there is no electric charge.

NOTE: Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit

→ Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing electrical load.

Release and unplug electric plug connections -1- .

Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1- for upper part of rear lid lock.

Remove upper part of lid lock from the rear lid.
