Removing front lid

Information 

Use a marking pen to mark the position of accessories with respect to each other before removal in order to reduce the amount of adjustment work required for gaps and joints.

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment  .
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant  .
• Some steps must be carried out automatically  .
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle  .

1. Pull grommet -1-  for wire harness out of the cut-out.

   1. 1.1. Unclip fixing clip -2-  for wire harness.
2. Pull wire harness out of the lid.
3. A second person should hold the front lid to prevent it from closing accidentally.
   1. 3.1. Screw off fastening nuts -1-  for the front lid.

4. Remove front lid.
