Removing control unit for distance measuring sensor

NOTE:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.
- Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of the ignition lock.
- Disengage trim cover -1-
at the left and right of the holder -2-
for the distance measuring sensor control unit -3-
and remove it.

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!
- Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work .
- Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation .
- Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts .
- Release electric plug connection -1- (-2- ) and disconnect it from the distance measuring sensor control unit -3- .
- Unclip bracket for electric line -4-
at the holder for the distance measuring sensor control unit and set electric line aside.
- Loosen air guide -1- close to the distance measuring sensor control unit -2- at the lock carrier.
- Unscrew fastening screws -3-
and remove distance measuring sensor control unit and holder.
