Removing generator

  1. Loosen fastening screws -1-  on the generator.

    1. 1.1. Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1-  .
    2. 1.2. Set down ground line -2-  .
  2. Lever the generator out of the bracket.
  3. Pull the generator slightly towards the radiator.
  4. Remove B+ line.
    1. 4.1. Pull insulating cap -1-  on the B+ connection forward.
    2. 4.2. Loosen fastening nut -2-  for the B+ line on the generator and remove B+ line.

  5. Release and disconnect electric plug connection on the generator.
  6. Move the generator backwards towards the wheel housing opening and remove it from the vehicle.
