Installing generator

Information 

• Before installing the new generator, tap the threaded bushes -1- out by approx. 4 mm  .

1. Press threaded bushes back off the generator.
2. Lift the generator through the wheel housing and into the vehicle at an angle and secure cables.
   1. 2.1. Route electric plug connection for term. 50 -2-  above the generator and connect it.
   2. 2.2. Secure B+ line -1-  . Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ft lb.)

3. Position and secure the generator.
   1. 3.1. Attach ground strap to the fastening screw.
   2. 3.2. Fit the generator on the bracket.
   3. 3.3. Fit and screw in screw together with the ground strap into the top mounting.
   4. 3.4. Screw in bottom screw.
   5. 3.5. Tighten screws. Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ft lb.)
