NOTE:
Replacing the hydraulic unit/control unit
- The hydraulic unit forms a single unit with the control unit.
- The hydraulic unit and control unit are always replaced together.
- When replacing the hydraulic unit/control unit, you must already have the new assembly before removing the old one.
- The data and coding of the old control unit must be transferred to the new unit before removing the old one.
- The hydraulic unit/control unit must be calibrated (calibration of hydraulic unit/control unit with combination sensor). If calibration is not performed, the PSM will have no values or incorrect values.
→ Procedure
→ The Porsche System Tester must not be disconnected from the diagnostic socket when replacing the hydraulic unit.
→ Read out data from old hydraulic unit/control unit. Switch off ignition. Disconnect connector for hydraulic unit and connect connector to the new hydraulic unit. Switch on ignition. Transfer data.
