Installing air-cleaner element for cylinder bank 1

Information

Always use an original air-cleaner element.
The air cleaner housing must always be perfectly clean.
Use (silicone-free) sliding compound for fitting the air guide hoses.
Secure all hose connections with standard hose clamps.
Always check the following when blowing out the air cleaner housing: To avoid malfunctions, cover critical air-supply components, such as air guide pipes, etc. with a clean cloth.
Observe disposal regulations!

Position air-cleaner element -2- in air cleaner housing -1- .

Position and close cover -2- on air cleaner housing.

Position air cleaner housing cover and tighten fastening screws -1- . Tightening torque 3.5 Nm (2.5 ft lb.)
