Removing fuel line from rear underbody to fuel pump

WARNING: Emerging fuel

Risk of fire

→ Disconnect the battery.

→ Avoid contact with hot parts or sources of ignition.

→ Allow engine to cool down.

→ Relieve the fuel pressure before opening the fuel lines.

→ Collect emerging fuel, absorb it if necessary with a suitable binding material and dispose of properly.

→ Use suction to remove ignitable vapors.

→ Attach warning sign to vehicle in a clearly visible position.

Release and pull off supply line for auxiliary heater -4- .

Loosen auxiliary heater pump -2- from the holder -3- and disconnect line -4- .

Remove line from the brackets.
