Removing fuel line

→ Disconnect the battery.

→ Avoid contact with hot parts or sources of ignition.

→ Allow engine to cool down.

→ Relieve the fuel pressure before opening the fuel lines.

→ Collect emerging fuel, absorb it if necessary with a suitable binding material and dispose of properly.

→ Use suction to remove ignitable vapors.

→ Attach warning sign to vehicle in a clearly visible position.

1. Loosen spring band clamp -1-  using assembly pliers Nr.72 Pos.1  and disconnect fuel line -2-  .

2. Loosen fuel line -3-  for auxiliary heating -1-  and disconnect it.

3. Take fuel line out of the brackets and remove it from the vehicle.
