Installing wheel

- In the event of heavy soiling, clean the wheel bolts and concavities in the rim with a lint-free cloth.
The wheel bolts/security wheel bolts (thread and all surfaces) must not be greased.
- The contact surfaces of the wheel on the wheel hub and brake disc must be clean. Clean them if necessary.
Re-grease or grease the wheel centering surface on the wheel hub (blue area) with a very thin coat of Optimally TA (aluminum paste).
The wheel contact surface on the brake disc (red area) -1- and on the wheel itself must not be greased (greasing is not permitted).
ONLY the area marked in blue may be greased.
- Fit wheel.
Never use an impact bolter to tighten the wheel bolts!
- 3.1. On vehicles with PCCB, screw the assembly aids -1- into two threaded holes that are not next to each other before fitting the wheel.
- 3.2. Carefully push the wheel over the assembly aids -1- .
- 3.3. Screw the other wheel fastening bolts into the remaining threaded holes.
- 3.4. Replace the assembly aids -1- with wheel fastening bolts.
- 3.5. Fit wheel fastening bolts and tighten them evenly at the same time. Start at the top when tightening.
- Tighten the wheel fastening bolts to the specified tightening torque. Tightening torque 160 Nm (118 ft. lb.)
