Preliminary work

Information 

If a new TV tuner is installed, there must be no signals at the optical waveguide connector (disconnected optical waveguide connector does not light up).

Given this, the battery must be disconnected before installing a new TV tuner.

  1. Switch off ignition.
  2. Disconnect the battery. → 2X00IN WORK INSTRUCTIONS AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY .
  3. Replace control unit. → 911719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TV TUNER .
  4. Connect the battery.
