Removing front door control unit

Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit

→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work .
Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation .
Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts .

Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of ignition lock.
Release electric plug connection -1- (-a- ) and pull it down off the front door control unit -2- (-b- ).

Release electric plug connection -1- (-a- ) and disconnect it from the front door control unit -2- .
Pull locking mechanisms -b- , press release buttons -c- and disconnect electric plug connections -3- from the front door control unit.

Release locking lug -a- and loosen front door control unit -1- from the door.
Pull retaining lugs -2- for the front door control forward out of the door.
