Removing tail light

- Unclip electric plug connection -1- at the body. Then release -2- and disconnect it.
- Remove connector holder -3-
from the connector.
- Pull seal -1- in the tail light area off the body seam.
- Disengage cover -2- at the sides -3- from the two clamps -4- .
- Disengage cover by pulling it forward -5-
out of the tail light seam -6-
.
When removing the left tail light:
- Loosen holder -1- for the line from the rear retaining strip -2- .
- Disengage holder -3-

), remove it from the rear retaining strip and leave it hanging with the line connected.
All vehicles
- Unscrew fastening nuts -1-
on the rear retaining strip -2-
and unscrew fastening screw -3-
.
- Unscrew fastening screws -1- on the tail light -2- .
- Remove tail light with rear retaining strip.
- Disengage locking mechanism -1- and remove rear retaining strip -2- from the tail light -3- .
- If you are replacing the tail light, pull adjustment device -4- off the tail light.
