Removing halogen bulb

NOTE: Incorrect handling of bulbs

Risk of damage to bulbs and the bulb housing

→ Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

→ Switch off the relevant loads when changing bulbs.

→ Only use bulbs listed in the bulb table.

→ Only install clean bulbs that are free of grease.

→ Always use a cloth or soft paper when working with bulbs.

→ Observe the safety instructions when changing a bulb in a Bi-Xenon headlight.

→ In certain states, it is compulsory to carry spare light bulbs.

Switch off position lights.
Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of ignition lock.
Release hose connection for the breather hose -1- (-a- ) and pull it off the headlight.
Turn the rear cover -2- in direction of arrow and remove it.
Pull electric plug connection -1- off the halogen bulb -2- .
Press clip -1- at the top forward, unhook at the sides -a- and bend it down -b- .
Remove halogen bulb -2- from the headlight.
