Removing (central) headlight control unit

NOTE:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.
Information
Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!
- Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work .
- Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation .
- Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts .
- Switch off position lights.
- Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of ignition lock.
- Remove (central) headlight control unit -1-

- 3.1. Press back locking lug on the holder -2- using a plastic wedge.
- 3.2. Carefully lift up (central) headlight control unit at the left and pull it out of the right tab -3- on the holder.
- Release clip -1- (-a- ), swivel it aside -b- and remove electric plug connection from the (central) headlight control unit -2- .
