Preliminary work

Raise the vehicle → 4X00IN LIFTING THE VEHICLE .
Remove wheel. Use assembly aids (assembly pins) -1- . → 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL .
NOTE:
Removing/fitting brake calliper
- Risk of damage to brake hose.
→ Do not leave brake calliper hanging from the brake hose.

→ Do not pull brake hose too tightly.

→ Do not kink, crush or twist the brake hose.

→ Hang the brake hose at a suitable position in the wheel housing.
Remove brake calliper and suspend it at a suitable position in the wheel housing (do not open the brake hydraulic system!)
